  • I had no idea about this festival until this year when I found out my favorite band is playing. cannot wait to attend tonight. taking my son with me so he can see his first concert ever...with the best band ever!
  • I love the people, laughter and good times. It brings everyone together. I can't wait to see Queensryche, a band that I have loved since I was a kid. Can't wait for tomorrow, planned this out for months to go w a group of friends and have a great night. See u all there.
  • What I love about the FEAST is how it brings my family together every year. The memories that The FEAST brings every year I always cherish. My family always finds the way to come together during a the Feast and that’s what makes it very near and dear to my heart. Queensryche just happens to be one of the all time favorite bands.
  • Never miss the largest Portuguese feast around and this year it is made all the more better with my favorite band Queensryche !!! I can not wait to see them and hope I get to see them up close and personal finally I follow them all the time and see them for all local shows in RI, MA, CT, etc...
  • The feast returning this time of year is an excitement all in itself. To see the decorations going up, seeing the hard work and commitment of the committee brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. Being born and raised in this city, and brought up in a Portuguese family I was taught about commitment to family and tradition. No where else can you see that practiced then at our beautiful feast. Being a long time member of Panthers a cross the street from the feast grounds, you call feel the neighborhood change as the feast approaches. Family and friends return from afar to experience the excitement every year. Generation after generation enjoys this time of year, being passed to me and me passing it on to my children plus now being Papa Voo I have 4 Grandchildren I hope will enjoy this for years to come. I love seeing families together, in traditional dress, enjoying each others company and conversation, plus eating the food that no other nationality could match. Showing the strength of the Portuguese people, who else could keep a tradition going for 104 years. The prayers and faith shown is as if God was here himself. With all the negativity surrounding our city, this feast is the one thing that reminds me how beautiful and historic our city really is. This year having my all time favorite band play in my hometown and at the greatest feast in the world to me is outstanding!! Having this bands logo tattooed on my body shows my loyalty and if you ask anyone, including bands preforming at the feast this year, members of No Way Out, Judas Rising and Likk will all tell you there is no bigger fan of Queensryche than I. Meeting them in my hometown would be unprecedented. Thank you for all the hard work you all do keeping a beautiful tradition alive. Keep bringing great bands and allowing local bands to showcase their talents in a excellent venue. Good luck on this years feast. God bless you all, and have a safe and happy time. QUEENSRYCHE!!!!!!!!!!
  • I grew up in Bristol, RI and have been almost every year. The food is amazing as well as everything else going on. I first heard Queensryche when I was 16! I had a rocker boyfriend at the time and Operation Mindcrime was the new album. Loved them ever since. Saw them on Shiprocked 2009 with Geoff Tate. I have been a true rocker all my life and would be ecstatic to meet the band!!!
  • I have been going to the Feast for 20 years or so and have been following Queensryche since 1982. Can not even say how many of there concerts I have attended over the years... I even remember waiting in line for the Q2K tour waiting at midnight to purchase front row tickets for the new years Boston show... They were also one of the first bands I learned how to play on guitar and played their music in multiple cover bands... I even tried to get a tribute band started just could not find a vocalist that could sound like Geoff Tate....
  • i love the feast for all the great live bands and for giving up n coming bands a chance to shine ....thank you and i have been a bog fan of Queensrÿche since the beginning
